The V01D was a special visual space and also kind of a lounge for the Offf design festival, where you could sit comfy on the poufs and just enjoy the loops.
V01D was created for the OFFF Festival in Barcelona. In a dark room, on 18 metres long and almost 4 metres of height, a series of 36 real-time audio reactive algorithms transformed the animation, using the music.
The responsive visual was created by Joshua Davis on the music of Kurt Uenala / Null + Void and his album Cryosleep.
“I sell forms and colors for a living” says Joshua Davis on his IG. Super cool forms, I might say. This was definitely the experience I enjoyed the most at OFFF.
OFFF takes place in Barcelona annually, while it tours the world as OFFF on Tour for the rest of the year. It is a visual festival dedicated to offline/online design, motion and sound and graphic design, to theorists, developers, professionals and all aficionados that want to see what’s going on in the world of visuals, meet designers and see their work.
