Casa Berenguer is a Modernist work with an ornate facade reflecting the family’s connection to the textile industry. Built in 1907-1908 for the Berenguer family, it features Gothic and Modernist elements. Initially a family residence, Casa Berenguer was renovated in the 1990s into luxury offices. The architects, Joaquim and Bonaventura Bassegoda i Amigó, are also known for other significant projects such as the Rocamora houses. Casa Berenguer stands out for many more Modernist houses in Barcelona commissioned by industrialists, with designs referencing to their business, making for unique and fascinating architecture.
