The origin of what is perhaps Barcelona’s most emblematic tile dates to 1900, when Modernista architect Josep Puig i Cadafalch created a design for the foyer floor of Casa Amatller: a flower with four petals. Today, it is one of the most widely used symbol of the city. And here you have it on cement tile.
